With WheezLab, Tmm software is increasing its expertise in digitizing the patient care process.

For 10 years, with its apTeleCare software solution, TMM software has supported patients suffering from various pathologies such as kidney disease, heart failure, cancer, diabetes, etc. This medical telesurveillance solution is Class I Medical Device certified.

Today, the e-health software publisher wishes to extend the field of its knowledge for remote monitoring. After having integrated the psychiatric care pathway, by the acquisition last september of the startup Mentalapps, Tmm Software wishes to expand its scope to care patients suffering from respiratory difficulties, linked to asthma.

Asthma affects 4 million people in France and is responsible for 1,000 deaths and for more than 60 000 hospitalizations, each year. Via digitalization, Tmm software’s ambition is to allow better care for these chronic patients.

This pathology requires a medical protocol which controls the various aspects of the disease, in order to offer the patient a course of care that is as suitable as possible. The apTeleCare solution will provide digital monitoring of the evolution of symptoms of these patients, on a daily basis, and compliance with the observance of the background treatments for some patients.

The modules of the WheezLab digital platform meet this objective: helping to detect patients with deep asthma, by sharing information between their doctor and the hospital, by providing them with support through therapeutic education and accompanying them with follow-up control of their illness.
